A look into what it takes to make it to the college level.

College signing day is always a landmark moment for student athletes. The ultimate goal of the club is to produce players with enough ability and creativity to play at the college level or beyond. Each individual athlete has their own focus and driving force. When that drive aligns with the instruction of MFC, you produce some pretty astounding results. Nycole (Goose) Bibaeff-Hirigoyen recently excepted a scholarship to attend and play soccer at the CSUSB. We decided to take a moment to get her perspective on the event.

I asked a few questions for the website.

MFC: How difficult was the recruiting process?

Goose: The recruiting process wasn’t that difficult it’s just a matter of getting all of your schools together and making sure you get business taken care of.

MFC: How often do you train with your club (Magnus FC)?

Goose: I train with my club 4 sometimes 5 days a week depending on coaches.

MFC: Do you have any advice for the younger Magnus players coming up?

Goose: The best advice I could give would probably be to keep your grades up and focus on getting one step better everyday ...when one door closes, another one opens.
